In this study, published in the Scientific Journal (Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism), researchers explained that eating breakfast would increase metabolism and burn body fat, as well as help regulate blood sugar levels.


Where the researchers behind the study noted that eating a hearty breakfast in the early morning increases the metabolism and calories the body burns during the day.


The results showed that eating a hearty breakfast helps in burning more calories, compared to those who eat a heavy dinner.


On the other hand, the researchers explained that eating a low-calorie breakfast would open the appetite later, especially for eating sweets, and hence the importance of eating a hearty meal for breakfast.


The study targeted 16 men in order to verify the results and they were divided into two groups, one who ate a heavy breakfast and the other a heavy dinner.


By tracking participants and monitoring their tests, researchers found that eating a fatty breakfast burns a double number of calories in the body, which helps in the process of burning fat and losing weight for those who want to do so.
